Support Refugee Causes

In addition to educational programming, Faces of Our World leaders have organized student-led fundraising efforts in support of displaced children and families. These initiatives have included community fundraisers and direct donations benefiting partner organizations working on the ground.

Schools and community groups are encouraged to support these organizations by donating directly or by partnering with Faces of Our World leaders to launch their own student-led fundraising efforts.

  • The HOME Project

Provides safe housing, education, and psychosocial support for unaccompanied minor children living in Greece. Student fundraising and T-shirt sales have helped fund shelter improvements and air-conditioning units at group homes.

  • West London Welcomes

Supports refugees and asylum seekers in the UK through community programs, material assistance, and integration support, including holiday gift collections and Swim Serpentine fundraiser.

  • Vestiaire Social

A Geneva-based charity that provides free clothing and essentials to people in need through donated items. Supported through student-led clothing drives.

    Foundation Partage

Geneva-based food bank that collects and redistributes surplus food and essential items to people in need, including refugee and migrant families facing food insecurity. Proceeds from bracelet sales were donated to the organization.

  • UNICEF

Supports children affected by conflict, displacement, and humanitarian crises worldwide. Faces of Our World organized an emergency relief fundraiser following the Turkey earthquakes.

    International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC)

Delivers humanitarian aid, emergency relief, and long-term support to vulnerable communities affected by crisis and displacement. Student leaders raised funds for IOCC by selling "merchandise” at Greek Festivals in NY and online.
